Now that you understand the need for a VHF marine radio, let’s talk a bit about licensing laws. Research has been under way for some years to relate pleasure boat moorings and traffic patterns to demands on water resources. This report describes one aspect of its research, namely, the relationship between the volume and direction of boat movements through locks and the amount of water (lockage) by: 1.
